I love art for its ability to wordlessly communicate an unlimited number of things.  For me, the use of vibrant, bold colour amplifies the emotion I am experiencing while putting paint to surface. It’s such a great way to work through thoughts and ideas, despite the inevitable frustration from time to time.  

 

I have painted most of my life, always from imagination, but as is the case with many of our passions there have been long gaps in between the surges of creativity (life, ugh!).  About 15 years ago I finally found myself with the time and space to really dig in. It feels like an extraordinary thing to be doing and fills me with great joy.  I am thrilled to be a part of the Apple Route Studio Tour this year, showing with so many incredible fellow artists.
