My Own Studio
I have been painting landscapes, old buildings, and flowers since 2003. My medium is oil paint, using a brush and a palette knife, which has helped me express my interpretation of the subject matter.
I’ve been travelling to Whitefish Falls for a week of en plein-air painting for over 9 years at the LaCloche Country Art School – it’s a painters’ paradise to be able to paint where some of the Group of Seven painted, very inspirational for trying to capture the ruggedness of the old pines in the area.
I am a member of the E.C.O.A.A as well as the Jekyll Island Art Association. I have private collections in Bellevillle, Bancroft, Amsterdam, Oregon, Buffalo, N.Y. and Brunswick, Georgia to name a few.
Much of my art as well as my one-of-a-kind jewellery is created and displayed in “My Own Studio” near Warkworth, which is open by chance or appointment.
